Co-curricular activities

 The JGI Schools do not focus solely on academic skills but provide a holistic program of co-curricular activities such as swimming, Karate, dance integrated in the curriculum. At JGI Schools students are trained by professional coaches from Grade I. JGI Schools’ students have won laurels in various competitions.

Arts, Dramatics and Music are also a part of the JGI curriculum. Students are encouraged to develop their talents and demonstrate them during Annual functions, Annual Sports Day and festival celebrations organized in the School during the academic year

Sports, games and physical education are an important aspect of JGI Schools students’ life that highlight both academic and co curricular excellence.

The Co-curricular activities include extempore debate, speech, science exhibitions, quiz, field trip etc.
Our Students will have an extensive range of Extra Curricular activities to choose from. These provide opportunities for children to experiment and grow into their unique personalities. Thus they are exposed to a variety of learning experiences beyond the classroom which include Fun Toot, Abacus, field trips, adventure activities, clay modelling, scouting, etc enabling students to develop life skills and leadership qualities through experiential learning

Children’s participation in activities / competitions organized and conducted throughout the year form the basis of assessing the students by the Visual Art/Performing Art teacher.

Elections for Student Council Committee are held every year Various house wise competitions are conducted on a regular basis throughout the academic year. To be in touch with our rich and ancient heritage, important festivals like Ganesh chathurthi, Krishna Janmasthami, Navratri,Diwali, Christmas etc are celebrated with great Pomp and Show. The children have an enriching experience while celebrating events like our National Festivals, Children’s Day, Teachers’ Day, Sports Day and Annual Day.
