Health and Physical Education (Sports/Self-Defence/Yoga/NCC etc.)

Art Education- Visual Arts (drawing, painting, crafts, sculpture, etc.) and Performing Arts (dance, music, drama, puppetry and Folk Art forms etc.).


Languages offered:

  • Std. I to Std. III - Hindi or Kannada as 2nd language
  • Std IV to Std X - Hindi, Kannada or Sanskrit as 2nd language
  • Std. VI to Std. VIII - Hindi, Kannada or Sanskrit as 3rd language
  • Hindi is compulsory as either a 2nd language or 3rd language.
  • The academic year commences in the month of April and concludes in March of the following year.
  • The Academic Year consists of two terms:
  • Term I – April to September.
  • Term II – October to March.

In an effort to incorporate holistic education for students in the school curriculum, Co-scholastic activities cover integrating life skills, values, health, sanitation, etc.Variety of activities are necessary for development of the affective and psychomotor domain. The activities like games and sport, art and music, craft work etc. are termed as co-scholastic activities. Co-scholastic activities are used for both cognitive and non-cognitive development that can take place by exposing the child to the scholastic and non-scholastic subjects. Art Education including local art, craft, literature and skills, Health and Physical Education, Yoga, indigenous sports, NCC, Scouts and Guides, etc. are integral parts of the curriculum and are included in the routine of the schools for the holistic development of children.
